Who we are
We are small new company that was founded in May 2021, at the end of a 15-year economic and construction crisis in Greece.
We aim to utilize recycled materials for the construction of urban and holiday homes and buildings.
Shipping containers
The main material we are looking into utilizing is shipping containers, which meet all the static rules for safe constructions in seismogenic Greece.
Disposing of these materials is very damaging to the environment; in fact, their reconstruction (melting, etc.) can be done in very few places in the world and of course with very high transportation and processing costs.
Modifying them to be incorporated in residential areas has been proven to be the best solution towards a more economical and healthier use of containers.You can find examples of their uses here.
Our Goal
As a company, we are in the stage of research, and in search of urban or holiday spaces and plots in order to build permanent or holiday homes with zero energy footprint using the aforementioned materials.
In these structures which can easily be integrated into the environment, our first focus is bioclimatic energy, waste management, and rainwater utilization. The next goal is connecting with the significantly fast-developing electricity and communications in Greece.
Another key aspect is the low initial cost, but also the short construction time of the container homes, which allows us to apply all available techniques and technologies without overburdening our constructions compared to the conventional constructions.
Another goal of ours is to approach groups of remote workers, based anywhere in the world, to enable them to work from a home in Greece. This can be on a beach or town or village, and for as many months as they desired, for solo professionals or families.
